Itinerary
Day 1 22nd of October: Depart from US
Day 2 23rd of October : Arrive in Israel
Group arrives at Tel Aviv Airport. Travel to the hotel in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.
Day 3: Capernaum, Sea of Galilee, Sepphoris, Nazareth
Explore the area of Jesus' early ministry. Visit Capernaum, the town where Simon Peter lived. Then visit Sepphoris, the old capital of Galilee and the educational center where modern Judaism evolved. Next, head to the city of Nazareth and visit the Nazareth Village Project (a recreation of ancient Nazareth). End the day by visiting the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized. Finally, enjoy an hour-long boat ride on the Sea of Galilee! (Note: Boat ride may be in the morning, depending on availability.)
Day 4: Golan Heights, Caesarea Philippi, Tel Dan, Hazor
Explore the ancient city of Hazor, one of the richest archeological parks in Israel. Later, see the ancient pagan center of Caesarea Philippi, the site where Peter made his confession. Next, discover the ruins of Tel Dan, the cultic center for the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the place where Jeroboam erected a golden calf.
In the evening enjoy an optional trip to a hot springs in the Golan Heights.
Day 5: Megiddo, Mount Carmel and Caesarea Maritima
Leave the hotel in Galilee and head toward the coast. Visit the ruins of Megiddo. Afterward make a stop at Mount Carmel where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. Walk the ruins at the Roman city of Caesarea Maritima. See a Roman amphitheater, aqueduct, and the court of Pontius Pilate, all on the shores of the Mediterranean. Later travel to Jerusalem and check in to the hotel.
Day 6: Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Herodion and Bethlehem
Wake up for an exciting day in Jerusalem! First, see the Mount of Olives and enjoy an introductory session about the history of Jerusalem. Hold a devotional in the Garden of Gethsemane. Later, head to the Herodion, a fortress built by Herod the Great south of Bethlehem. Finally, visit Bethlehem to tour the Nativity Church and Shepherd’s Field in Beit Sahour.
In the evening, we will visit Israel Museum.
Day 7: Dead Sea, Jericho, Qumran and Masada
Drive east from Jerusalem through the Judean Desert. Stop in Jericho, the "City of Palms," then float in the Dead Sea. Afterwards, see Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. In the afternoon, stay on the beach or ride the gondola for a tour of the desert fortress of Masada.
In the evening, participants will have the option of having a culture night featuring local music and food.
Day 8: A Day with a Rabbi: Temple Mount, Western Wall, Archaeological Park, City of David, Holy Sepulchre and Garden Tomb
Start the day by visiting the Temple Mount, where disciples can view the golden Dome of the Rock. From there, stop at the historic Western Wall. Next, visit the Holy Sepulchre, before entering the Jerusalem Archaeological Park. At the park, see where the first Christians were baptized on Pentecost, and learn about the Temple at the time of Jesus. After that, visit the City of David and walk through the Hezekiah’s Tunnel. End the day with a devotional at the Garden Tomb.
In the evening, participants will have the option of attending an evening on religion and politics in Israel/Palestine.
Day 9: Departure Depart from Tel Aviv Airport, or take an optional 2-day extension to Petra, Jordan (see next page).
Optional Extension to Petra, Jordan
Day 9: Drive to Petra Make a stop at the Red Sea in Eilat. Snorkel or swim, and enjoy the marine life on the coral reefs.
Day 10: Petra Spend the whole day in Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Explore the Treasury, the Monastery, the amphitheatre, and the rock-cut tombs of this spectacular Nabatean city, hidden among desert valleys and located along ancient caravan routes. Day 11: Departure Depart from Amman.
Digg for a day option (extra charge applys) will be announced by May 5th. If you interested you would have to arrive to Israel on the 22nd instead of the 23rd.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be received in writing (via mail, fax, or email) by SETI TOURS AND SERVICES. Cancellations will be subject to the following fees:
For cancellations made 91+ Days prior to travel, a fee of $150 per person will be assessed. For cancellations made 90-61 Days prior to travel, a fee of $300 per person will be assessed. For cancellations made 60-46 Days prior to travel a fee equal to 35% of tour cost will be assessed. For cancellations made 45-31 Days prior to travel, a fee equal to 60% of tour cost will be assessed. For cancellations made 30-15 Days prior to travel, a fee equal to 80% of tour cost will be assessed. For cancellations made 14 Days prior to travel or less, a fee equal to 100% of tour cost will be assessed.
Travel insurance is non-refundable.
TERMS & CONDITIONS Final Payment: Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Prices: Prices are per person and are based upon shared twin room occupancy. In case of human or computer error, SETI Tours and Services LLC reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided SETI Tours and Services LLC a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification. Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. SETI Tours and Services LLC strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance package, which covers health, lost luggage, trip cancellation and trip interruption. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any losses or expenses, which you or any member of your party may incur as a result of failing to secure adequate coverage. We can recommend travel insurance companies upon request. Passport and Documentation: Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination. SETI LLC is not responsible to provide any travel documents to any of our destinations, including visas. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to confirm with the consulate of each country visited, about any necessary travel documentation/visas required to enter these countries. Airlines and Air Tickets: Passengers are responsible to ensure SETI Tours and Services LLC has the correctly spelled names for air tickets reservations. Due to newly introduced security measures, any name change including minor spelling corrections may require airline reservations to be canceled and rebooked. SETI Tours and Services LLC will not be held responsible for the denial of services by a carrier due to any name discrepancy. Subsequent name corrections will be subject to an airline rebooking fee of up to $300 per ticket. Air reservations are subject to availability at the time of rebooking. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with this tour are subject to air penalties per individual carrier’s rules and regulations which will be applied. Airport Taxes and Fees: All airline tickets are subject to a variety of foreign and domestic government taxes which include security charges, the September 11th Security Fee, airport facility charges, customs and immigration fees, inspection fees, fuel surcharges and more. Taxes and fees are subject to change. Airport taxes & fees which appear on the invoice reflect the taxes and fees that are applicable when the original reservation is completed. These taxes and fees may vary prior to airline tickets being issued. We reserve the right to amend the airport taxes & fees to reflect any changes prior to ticketing.
Baggage: Luggage is the responsibility of the passenger/s and that of the airlines. For lost/delayed luggage claims, the passenger is responsible for notifying the airline directly. If travel insurance policy was purchased, all damage/loss must be reported at time of incident and documented in writing by local authorities for submission to the insurance company. As all airlines differ and restrictions change periodically, we recommend that you call the airline directly with questions about your baggage allowance. SETI Tours and Services LLC shall not be held responsible for any delay or damage to or loss of luggage and/or personal items. Tour Itinerary: SETI Tours and Services LLC reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. In all cases, SETI Tours and Services LLC will do its best to maintain the content of the tour. If the tour services as indicated by the itinerary cannot be supplied or there are changes in the itinerary for reasons beyond the control of SETI Tours and Services LLC we will arrange for provision of comparable services. SETI Tours and Services LLC reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary whenever SETI Tours and Services LLC deems it necessary to the comfort, convenience and safety of the participant at any time. No refund will be paid for unused services such as: transfers, sightseeing, meals, hotel accommodation, entrance fees, and others that are listed in the tour program. Meals: Meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated. Hotels Accommodation: Hotels will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability.
